Chicago Theological Seminary Welcomes Lisa Notter, Vice President of Advancement

Chicago Theological Seminary is proud to announce the appointment of Lisa Notter as Vice President of Advancement, effective September 18, 2017. Notter brings extensive experience in both fundraising and higher education. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University. Throughout her professional career, Notter has developed the skills and experience to effectively manage institutional communications, donor relations, stewardship reporting, events and annual giving efforts. While working in higher education, Notter has worked closely with Trustees, lead/high level donors, University Presidents, Vice Presidents, Provosts, Deans, and faculty and staff members.
“Ms. Notter’s combined experience of faith-based and higher education fundraising will enable CTS to fully live into our commitments to theological education and social transformation,” said CTS Acting President and General Counsel Donald C. Clark, Jr.
Notter most recently served as the Senior Director of Communications & Annual Giving for the Illinois Institute of Technology, where she managed annual giving initiatives and team members, being responsible for more the 6,400 donors per year and $1.8M in yearly revenue. Prior to moving into higher education Notter was involved in marketing and capital campaign strategy, along with raising funds through sponsorship with the DuPage Children’s Museum, and previously worked with Compaq Computers and The Houston Post.
