Pastor, Waldensian Methodist Churches of Scicli and Pachino
ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION:
Partner Church or Ecumenical Organization Requesting Personnel: Waldensian Church in Italy (Union of Methodist and Waldensian Churches) And FCEI_(Federation of Protestans Churches in Italy)
STUDENT PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES:
This position will focus on Interfaith relations, Refugees/migration, Pastoral Care, and Church Activities.
STUDENT PLACEMENT EXPECTATIONS:
The candidate will be required to support the Waldensian Minister in everyday activities taking place in the Methodist Church of Scicli and to help in the work of the staff of Casa Delle Culture. Casa delle Culture is a facility founded by the Federation of Protestant Churches to welcome vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers. Other than Scicli, Reverend Francesco Sciotto serves in two more churches, Pachino and Vittoria, so the candidate will be required to help Pastor Sciotto in those churches as well.
STIPEND AVAILABLE:

The candidate will be staying at the volunteers’ house or in a small apartment in Scicli. Accommodation will range from 200,00 to 500,00 Euros.
