Ramadan, the Spiritual Reset

Mustafa Abousaleh is the President of the Olive Branch Revival Foundation (OBRF) (obrf.ca), a grassroots organization dedicated to supporting immigrants, newcomers, and their families in settlement, education, intellectual growth, and identity development. He is also the founder of the Fusha Adventures Center (FAC), an initiative that immerses children in the Arabic language through hands-on scientific exploration in Canada. Additionally, he runs the largest Ramadan Challenge in North America, engaging participants across generations and hosted on makkah.ca.

A seasoned software developer, Mustafa specializes in large-scale financial revenue management systems. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Electrical Biomedical Engineering, a Master of Applied Sciences in Telecommunication and Engineering Entrepreneurship, and a Bachelor of Islamic Studies specializing in da’wah. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Divinity (MDiv) in Islamic Chaplaincy with the Bayan Islamic Graduate School at the Chicago Theological Seminary.

With over two decades of experience in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors, Mustafa has founded and led more than 10 organizations. He has also delivered Islamic cultural sensitivity training to over 300 organizations, including some of the largest faith-based institutions and churches in North America. Mustafa is happily married and a proud father of two, alhamdulillah.
