Thought's on "God’s Economy"

"I’m not sure if I’m still feeling the weight of the Zimmerman trial outcome, but when I read the response to the trial and of the poisoned school-children in India, I’m just overwhelmed by how vulnerable people become when they are poor, especially when they are children—subject to others making decisions on their behalf.  When we are poor we are more vulnerable to everything from unintentional human error to more sinister neglect, hatred, and corruption.  Money so often protects others from these fates. “In God’s economy, we shouldn’t have to pay for the right to abundant life."
