The course offerings for every semester are available on the Course Schedule page, and descriptions of each class can be found in the Course Catalog or the ACTS catalogue. These course offerings will also be sent out 2 weeks prior to each registration period. Check the Academic Calendar for registration deadlines—there is a $50 late-registration-fee for all registrations after the deadline.
ACTS Cross-Registration (Association of Chicago Theological Schools)
Students interested in cross-registering with any of the ACTS seminaries need to download the ACTS registration form, fill it out on a computer, and email it back to the Registrar. The ACTS course catalog which includes all offerings of the consortium seminaries are available on the ACTS website.
Transcripts are free for current students, and for others cost $10 for the first copy and $5 for every subsequent copy in a single request. Students and Alumni/ae may request a copy of their transcript from the Registrar by filling out a Transcript Request Form and either mailing it to the Registrar with a check, or faxing it to the Registrar (773.643.1284) and paying the Finance Office (773.896.2440) by credit card.
Students and Alumni may request copies of other documents in their file from the Registrar. Copies cost $2 per item. Contact the Registrar with your request.
Petition for Extension (Incomplete Coursework)
Students who need to submit request an extension for incomplete coursework must submit a Petition for Extension before the end of the term. The Petition for Extension form is available below, and in hard copy from the Registrar and must be signed both by the instructor and the Academic Dean.
All students who graduate from CTS pay a $140 graduation fee to cover the costs of the graduation ceremony and documentation. This fee must be paid prior to graduation.
All students must have proof of health insurance while at CTS. Students have the option to make use of the University of Chicago Major Medical Insurance. To sign up, contact the Registrar. Other insurance options are available from the Registrar.
